Who we are
Ingenious Traveler is the brand of Eko Explorations d.o.o., a licensed Croatian travel agency based in Zagreb, Croatia (VAT 17409590612). We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at info@ingenioustraveler.com.
What we collect
We only collect what we need to answer your enquiries and organise your trip:
- Your name and contact details (email, phone)
- Booking details — travel dates, pick-up and drop-off points, group size, vehicle or room preferences
- Information you share in enquiries or messages to us
- Your email address if you sign up for our newsletter
When you pay by card, your card details are entered on Stripe's own secure payment page and are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiries
- To organise, book and deliver your transfer, day trip or multi-day tour
- To process payments and meet our legal and accounting obligations
- To send you our newsletter and updates, where you have asked us to
Legal basis
We process your data to perform our booking agreement with you, on the basis of your consent (for example, when you sign up to our newsletter through a form), on the basis of our existing customer relationship with you, and for our legitimate interest in running the agency. You can withdraw consent, or opt out of customer newsletters, at any time.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. To deliver your trip, we share only the details necessary with the partners providing it — such as drivers, guides, accommodation and on-site services. We also rely on trusted providers who process data on our behalf and only on our instructions, including Stripe for card payments and our email platform for correspondence and newsletters.
Newsletter
If you sign up to our newsletter through a form on our website, this is opt-in — you choose to join.
If you book a trip with us, we may add you to our newsletter so we can keep you updated on similar trips and offers. This is allowed under data protection law for our own customers, without a separate sign-up, and we always give you an easy way to say no at the time of booking.

How long we keep your data
We keep your personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet our legal and accounting requirements, after which it is securely deleted.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time.
