Detailed Itinerary
Day by day
Day 1Arrival in Zagreb
Arrival to Zagreb and transfer to your accommodation in the heart of the city. In the evening you will meet your guide for a welcome drink to get to know each other and talk about your upcoming adventure. Zagreb has many museums, bars and restaurants — if you have time, we suggest arriving a day or two earlier.
Overnight: 4-star hotel in Zagreb
Day 2Truffle Hunting, Istrian Peninsula
Travel from Zagreb to the Istrian peninsula. Our first destination is Motovun town and its forest in the heart of the peninsula, the land of truffles, where we will engage in a truffle hunting experience — you'll be shown how truffles are found with the help of experienced truffle dogs, ending with a tasty lunch including truffle products. In the afternoon we travel to Pula, where you can view the iconic Colosseum, a Roman amphitheatre.
Overnight: 4-star hotel in Pula
Day 3Explore the Istrian Peninsula
Morning exploration of Pula's Colosseum reveals not only its grandeur but the fascinating tales embedded in its time-worn walls, and its intricate tunnels offering a glimpse into ancient Roman engineering. In the afternoon we journey to the Plitvice Lakes area, tucked away deep in the Croatian countryside.
Overnight: 4-star hotel in the Plitvice Lakes area
Day 4Plitvice Lakes National Park
We wake up at the doorstep of the oldest Croatian national park and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The sequence of 16 turquoise lakes linked together with beautiful waterfalls and travertine pools are really as beautiful as in the photos, even more. We'll walk along the lakes, past the waterfalls, with access to viewpoints along the way. In the evening we travel to Zadar, a coastal city adorned with captivating Roman and Venetian ruins, medieval churches, and a vibrant atmosphere.
Overnight: 4-star hotel in the Zadar area
Day 5Krka River National Park & Trogir
With its seven travertine waterfalls and a total drop of 242 m, the Krka River is one of the most beautiful natural and karst phenomena in Croatia. The main attractions are the Skradinski Buk waterfall, the small island of Visovac with a Franciscan monastery, and the Roški waterfall — with a swim in the river if you feel like it. Lunch is served in an old family mill that serves home-made food. In the afternoon we travel to Trogir, an authentic medieval coastal town with a historical core proclaimed a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Overnight: 4-star hotel in Trogir
Day 6Split & Pelješac Peninsula
Not far from Trogir awaits the famous city of Split with its imposing Roman ruins — the Diocletian's Palace, with rich and interesting history dating back to the 4th century. In the afternoon we continue to the Pelješac Peninsula, stretching proudly along the Adriatic coast — a haven for wine enthusiasts and seafood connoisseurs, renowned for its vineyards producing robust red wines and the freshest oysters.
Overnight: 4-star hotel on the Pelješac peninsula
Day 7Pelješac Peninsula & Dubrovnik
A day dedicated to the treasures of Pelješac, where wine enthusiasts will savour tastings in a family winery. We explore Ston, home to the world's second-longest defensive walls, with local oyster and mussel indulgence — a boat tour to an oyster farm unveils the secrets of this culinary tradition, culminating in a tasting and lunch experience. In the evening we transfer to Dubrovnik, with time to unwind or explore this magnificent UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Overnight: 4-star hotel in the Dubrovnik area
Day 8Departure
As your adventure concludes, we provide a seamless transfer to the airport, bus station, or your next hotel. If you wish to extend your stay, we recommend exploring the Dubrovnik walls, Lokrum Island Reserve, the Srđ Mountain cable car, or nearby Montenegro.
